The main objective of Resource Learning Communities is to make Central Indiana a safer place to live, decreasing incidents of assault and personal property crimes by 25% over a two-year period in designated high-risk apartment communities. RLC aspires to the Goodwill, Inc. model of economic recovery by offering strategies that affect "two-generations." Connecting residents with local educational or career opportunities, while offering free, on-site access to licensed teachers and resources, enables us to walk along side our clients, as a point of resource, while they make significant life change. As we move individuals toward graduation and economic opportunity teach them to make better life choices, they become much better role models for their children or other family members. This isn't just good for families, it's good for the community.
